The Alabama Composite is the official newsletter of the Alabama Academy of General Dentistry. Each year, there are typically three full-color print issues and one final digital issue in the winter that covers the last quarter of the year.–
Under the direction of Editor Emeritus Bill Chesser, the publication has earned the Academy Constituent Editor’s (ACE) award at the national AGD meeting on numerous occasions. In 2025 Dr. Shivani Pandit was elected as Editor-in-Chief and will no doubt continue the success that the newsletter has enjoyed in the past.
